Michael Lagau

Founder, Certified Sommelier, Hospitality Expert

Michael Lagau is a Bay Area native who has worked in luxury hotels and restaurants for the last two decades.

Michael fell in love with wine for the first time in 2001 while managing a small wine bar in La Jolla, Calif. He went on to become a Level 2 Certified Sommelier in 2010, and founded Bin415 in 2013. Prior to starting Bin415, Michael worked in various Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels such as The Four Seasons and The Fairmont. During his tenure in restaurants, he had the privilege of working with chefs such as Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys) and Daniel Patterson (Coi).

 

Kelly Evans

Advanced Sommelier, Hospitality Expert

Kelly Evans is a seasoned hospitality and wine expert, originally from Houston, Texas. He is currently an advanced sommelier, and in the process of pursuing his master accreditation.

Kelly has worked in the wine industry for years, most recently serving as the head sommelier at Saison, a three star Michelin restaurant in San Francisco. Prior to Saison, Kelly worked as a sommelier and general manager at RN74, Lazy Bear, and many other restaurants around the Bay Area.
